In many English-speaking countries, business cards are treated rather casually. But in Asia, they are important. When someone hands over their card, take it with both hands, look at it carefully and treat it with care and respect. Feel free to ask questions (within reason, of course) about the information on it -it’s good to show interest in this way, and it will help you to understand the organization that the person works for. Do not write or make notes on it. Store it in a specific place. Hand over your card in return, also with both hands; ensure that you always have a supply with you.
